InPipe Energy

Turn Water Into Electricity

About this Event

InPipe Energy has developed the HydroXS, a patented, scalable, micro-hydroelectric energy recovery system that produces renewable energy from the water that flows through municipal and industrial water pipes.

Recently, Aurora Water in Colorado selected InPipe Energy to install an in-conduit hydroelectric system that generates electricity from the flow of water in its drinking water system. This innovative investment supports the city’s goal of using more renewable energy sources and reducing carbon emissions. The system will go online in June 2024 and generate an estimated 255,000 kilowatt-hours of emission-free energy per year, offsetting 3,400 tons of carbon emissions over the project’s lifetime.

InPipe has proven results from several projects and is generating revenue with a number of repeat customers. They have more than 50 projects in their sales pipeline with over $55M in potential revenue from both product sales and long-term, recurring energy-as-a-service revenue.

Register now to watch this webinar with InPipe Founder & CEO, Gregg Semler, to hear how cities across the country are turning their existing water infrastructure into sources of clean, renewable energy.
